Skill training and livelihood projects run for central ministries, state skill missions and farmer producer organisations.
Skilling and livelihood projects
Divine International Foundation is an independent provider of human resource, skill training and corporate social responsibility consultancy services. Its project work is carried out as an implementing partner for central government ministries, state skill development missions and state departments, and covers rural youth, urban poor households, women, minority youth, school drop-outs and small and marginal farmers.
Training is delivered under the Ministry of Rural Development through Deendayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana, under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship through Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, and under state missions in Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. Jan Shikshan Sansthan centres operate in the villages of Uttarkashi, while the Aajeevika Integrated Livelihood Support Project supports rural livelihoods in the working area of UGVS.
Alongside skilling, the foundation works as a Cluster Based Business Organization for the formation and promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab. Each programme below sets out its own objective, target group and area of operation.
