Uttarakhand Skills Development Mission (UKSDM)
Free skill development training for youth across all 13 districts of Uttarakhand, in urban and rural sectors, under a mission created in February 2013.
Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission (UKSDM) has been providing free skill development training to youth over all 13 districts urban and rural sectors of state. In order to address the challenges of unemployment and ensuring gainful and sustainable employment to the youth of the state, the Hon'ble Chief Minister created Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission in February 2013.
The State of Uttarakhand is a developing State and for its development it requires trained employees in all the sectors. The youth in Uttarakhand is finding it difficult to improve the skill which can lead to employment and entrepreneurship.
The mission therefore works to skill the un-skilled youth and to get certification of the skills of skilled youth, and to promote skill development activities across the state.
